Accounting and Finance Manager

Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Establish and implement accounting systems, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations (TAS, TFRS, BOI, VAT, WHT, etc.).
  • Oversee and review accounting records (GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Fixed Assets) to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Prepare and close full set financial statements in accordance with TFRS (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for submission to management, Revenue Department, Department of Business Development, external auditors, and banks.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits and provide supporting information.
  • Review and submit tax filings (withholding tax, VAT, corporate income tax) accurately and within deadlines.
  • Prepare financial reports, financial analysis reports, and budget vs. actual reports to support business planning.

Finance:

  • Plan and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
  • Control and approve disbursements, prepare payment plans, and manage company working capital.
  • Evaluate costs, analyze liquidity, assess cost of funds, and provide strategic financial recommendations.
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions regarding credit facilities, credit lines, and financial transactions.
  • Oversee financial risk management policies (e.g., exchange rates, interest rates, tax risks).

People Management:

  • Manage the accounting and finance team, set KPIs, develop team capabilities, and establish efficient working standards.
  • Provide guidance and resolve accounting and financial issues for the team and other related departments.
  • Develop and improve accounting systems and ERP software, ensuring documentation is up-to-date, secure, and auditable.

🔹 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and relevant laws.
  • Solid skills in planning, financial analysis, and team management.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
