ALCTRON EPP005 is a foam-based acoustic isolation pad designed specifically to enhance the audio performance of studio monitors by reducing unwanted vibrations — a key factor in achieving accurate sound reproduction.
Primary Purpose:
Vibration Isolation: The main role is to “decouple” the speakers from their resting surface (e.g., desks or stands). Vibrations caused by speakers can travel to these surfaces and create unwanted resonance or reflections, particularly in the low-frequency range. The EPP005 acts as a cushion that absorbs this vibration, resulting in cleaner audio output.
Improved Sonic Accuracy: With reduced vibration, bass response becomes tighter and less boomy, while mids and highs are clearer and more detailed. This allows for more accurate mixing and monitoring.

Made from high-density acoustic foam, offering flexibility and durability for long-term use and effective vibration absorption.
Dimensions & Design:
Approximate size: 170 x 300 x 40 mm (W x D x H) — suitable for 5” monitors.
Two-Component Design: Each pad set (for one speaker) includes two foam pieces that can be stacked or separated to adjust the speaker angle.
Adjustable Angle Options:
Flat: Base pad only
Angled Up: Place the wedge at the front
Angled Down: Place the wedge at the back
This flexibility ensures the speaker is aimed directly at the listener’s ear level (sweet spot), which is crucial for accurate frequency response.
