Intro

MG4+ is a 6-band EQ inspired by the legendary Series 500 EQ module but with exciting new features added to expand on its great design and signature sound.

Description

The hardware original that made us create MG4+ is famous for its Sky Band, which will add the expensive-sounding gloss and sheen to the vocals typically heard on pop singles with top production teams and equipment behind them. That’s hardly all this 6-band EQ has to offer. It’s also notable for its highly linear phase operation, a rarity in the analog realm, which endows the MG4+ with the ability to preserve the audio being put through it without any phase-shifting artifacts. Clarity is the name of the game when it comes to this EQ.

Our Synergy Core Native recreation of this desired EQ builds on the unique Sky Gain feature by adding even more options for adjustment and control to flesh out the highs of your sound in greater detail. MG4+ features the brand-new Sky Gain function which gives much-needed flexibility when working your signal chain. Use this sought-after tool with any DAW or audio interface you might be using.

History

The inspiration behind MG4+ can be considered a 2000s classic but it already found its way on the records of hundreds of top-charting artists. The EQ is a must-have for all engineers and producers looking to capture and sculpt the perfect vocal sound, the one can sell thousands of records and tickets. The unit that inspired us to create MG4+ is an amalgam of intuitive controls, careful design, and ground-breaking features. Just like the original hardware, our digital reincarnation of this game-changing EQ will yield results as soon as you add it to your FX chain so why wait any longer?
