If a product is under warranty, we provide free repairs at our repairs centre for music equipment in Bangkok. If the product broke within 15 days after your purchase, we'll provide you with a brand new product.

Sleek Design, Easy to Carry
The design of this DAC has been slightly increased in size and weight compared to the FiiO BTR3. Its weight has gone up from around 23 grams to 43 grams. While this may seem like a significant increase proportionally, in real-world use the difference is hardly noticeable.
The external dimensions of the BTR5 are 72 × 32 × 11.3 mm, while the BTR3 measures 58 × 25 × 10.4 mm. One of the main reasons for this change is the larger battery used in the FiiO BTR5, which features a 550 mAh battery—an upgrade from the BTR3.
FiiO BTR5 DAC-Amp vs BTR3
The upgraded specifications of the FiiO BTR5 begin with a new Bluetooth chip, upgrading Bluetooth connectivity from version 4.2 to the faster and more stable Bluetooth 5.0. The BTR5 offers up to 9 hours of continuous operation and supports fast charging, allowing the battery to be fully charged in just 1.5 hours.
In addition, the DAC chip has been upgraded from the AK4376A to a dual ES9218 DAC configuration, resulting in higher SNR, lower noise, cleaner sound, and significantly improved overall audio performance.
Advanced Performance Beyond Its Price
What truly stands out about the FiiO BTR5 is its expanded functionality through smartphone app integration, greatly enhancing usability. Users can fine-tune settings such as the equalizer, left/right balance, and various audio filters. It also supports high-quality codecs like LDAC. Overall, its performance far exceeds expectations for a DAC priced under 5,000 THB.
