What makes the TEO-5 stand out is its use of VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillators), delivering a truly authentic analog sound. It offers distinctive sawtooth, square/pulse, triangle, and noise waveforms. A special addition is the through-zero FM, which creates even more complex tones—enabling not only classic Oberheim sounds but also entirely new ones never before heard from vintage models.
Powerful SEM Filtering
Another core element of this synthesizer is the SEM filter, which can be adjusted from Low-Pass to High-Pass, and also offers Notch and Band-Pass options for even greater sound design versatility. This filter is well-known from previous Oberheim models, having been featured in many hit songs. In the TEO-5, it retains its signature character and powerful tonal shaping capabilities.
