Originally installed in 1957, these plate reverbs shaped the atmosphere of countless classic and contemporary recordings. Waves developed this plugin in close collaboration with Abbey Road Studios to accurately model not only the plates themselves but also the full analog signal path, including damping mechanisms and preamp coloration. The goal was to deliver a lush, musical, and authentic reverb experience that faithfully captures the depth, shimmer, and sonic identity of the original hardware, while offering the convenience and flexibility of a modern plugin.
