Waves Morphoder was developed to reinvent the vocoder, a tool historically known for robotic vocal effects, by modernizing it and vastly expanding its creative potential. Traditional vocoders were limited in terms of flexibility and sound design options, often confined to keyboard carriers and simplistic controls. Morphoder was created to break these boundaries, enabling musicians and sound designers to blend and morph audio in entirely new ways. It brings together a robust internal polysynth, flexible modulation capabilities, and an intuitive morphing engine to empower users to create everything from classic vocoder textures to futuristic and cinematic sonic landscapes. The product was designed to be both an homage to iconic vocoder sounds and a leap forward into experimental audio manipulation.
