Alesis
Alesis was founded in 1980, initially manufacturing processors for recording equipment in studios and producing the world's first 16-bit effects processor. They later expanded to develop drum machines, synthesizers, studio monitors, and mixer consoles.
Until 2001, Jack O’Donnell took control of Alesis and was determined to make Alesis a leader in digital equipment, starting with digital mixers and full-featured electronic percussion devices, as well as various computer connectivity and audio interfaces. They focused on developing the music industry with high-quality digital equipment.
