It also features an FET input stage that produces tube-like distortion if the input is overdriven (with more than about 2v P-P).

This control allowsyou to boost the bass.without losing all of the treble, or the treble without losing all of the bass. with a scooped mindrage response (mid frequencies somewhat attenuated) at the center of the tone control, witch can be defeated by the tone off control.

No matter how the TONE control is set – to the bass end, center, or the treble end, the Tone Toggle switch will defeat its effect. When the Tone toggle switch is turned on, the tone will be as it is set by the tone control.
